Our associative, nonprofit organizational model is operated by CIANO – Centro de Iniciativas Ambientais, Navais e Oceanográficas/ Center for Environmental, Naval and Oceanographic Initiatives. The initiatives in Science and Technology of the Sea involving the Sailboat ECO, are made from programs and projects with the purpose of developing actions related to:

Scientific research in cooperation with universities and other institutions;
Organization and execution of STI programs, aiming at a sustainable use of the marine resources;
Entrepreneurship for the development of innovative products and services;
Creation, production and display of educational programs via TV e WEB;
Cooperative implementation of projects to support coastal and river communities;
Promotion of culture, defense and conservation of the coastal and oceanic environments.
